DESCRIPTION:	This is made from a silk antique (about 50 years old) Maru-obi sash, where the patterns are woven on double wide fabric, being bent and stitched. The back side is plain black. Gold metal threads were used. The Obi sash was for formal wear.The woven patterns are Syo-chiku-bai (pine-bamboo-plum) and Mukai-zuru (two cranes).
