DESCRIPTION:	This is made from a silk antique (about 50 years old) Maru-obi sash, where the patterns are woven on double wide fabric, being bent and stitched. The back side is plain black. Gold metal threads were used. This Obi sash was used in formal ware for an elderly woman. The woven patterns are pines, bamboos, peonies, and chrysanthemums.
