Storage and care: It is always best to store our wearable products enclosed in plastic zippered hangers. This way, they can be protected from moths and other harmful influences with cedar chips or some other appropriate repellents. Also it should be remembered that high humidity can cause new stains. Artist Profile

Miyuki is originally from the Niigata prefecture on the North coast of Japan, and now lives in Hollywood, California.
As a child Miyuki had several kimonos, some of great age, and it was then that she learned to appreciate the colors, designs, texture and feel of these special silks from her mother and grandmother. Whenever they allowed her to wear these garments, it would give her great pleasure.
As Miyuki grew up, she dreamed that one day she would be able to work in some way with the fabrics, and she began to make a study of Japanese culture and tradition as it was handed down through the generations, and expressed in the design elements of the fabrics. She was also trained with "Omote-senke" (Japanese tea ceremony) and the "Kanze-ryu" (Noh chant).
Now that she lives in America she is happy knowing that she can share this knowledge and joy with people who are not Japanese.
